University of Iowa from 1990-1994 where Coach Deprenger also wrestled for the Hawkeyes for 4 years. Currently attending Drake University to eventually receive a Masters in Educational Administration.

Coach Deprenger has 4 children, Madison (age 12), Sydney (10), Max (9), and Mia (5).
Married to Leslie. Leslie also teaches in the Iowa City School District as a Physical Education teacher. Coach Deprenger teaches 5th-6th grade at Longfellow Elementary in Iowa City.
